TAF Owner/Operator Requirements
Minimum Driver Requirements:
- Must have at least two years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial motor vehicle
- Minimum age requirement 23 years old
- Must be able to write, comprehend and speak English
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be a US Citizen, or have a valid employment authorization from the US
- Immigration and Naturalization Service
- Must have USDOT physical within the last 30 days
- Must pass MVR and criminal background check
- Must attend, complete and pass a 3-day orientation training class
- No Speeding violations 15 mph over the posted limit or any other major
- No more than two moving violations during the last 36 months
- No more than one preventable accident within the last 36 months
- No DUIs and/or reckless driving convictions in the past 36 months
- Must operate and/or maintain safe vehicle
- Must have or be willing to acquire HazMat Endorsment
Minimum Equipment Requirements:
- 10 Years or newer
- Must have current USDOT Inspection
- Maximum total truck height is 13 feet 6 inches
- Maximum fifth wheel height is 47 inches
- Pigtail must be hot
TAF Owner/Operator Support Package
Pay Structure:
Your rate of pay as an independent contractor is based on several variables. Rate structure is flat rate or per mile. Please call recruiting for more details, 866-234-7464.- EZ Pass and PrePass available to all owner/operators
- Detention and layover pay when approved by linehaul manager
- Stop off fee is paid for stop offs above and beyond the lane that driver is running
- Fuel Stabilization
- Weekly settlements
- Miles paid are determined by PC Miles - NOT odometer readings
- Solo driver can expect approximately - 3000 miles per week
- Team drivers can expect approximately - 5000 miles per week
