Guarantee Rules and Restrictions
Applies to ALL Guaranteed Shipments
- To be eligible for guarantee:
- Shipments must be booked prior to pick-up or drop at dock by
phone, fax or web
- Origin shipments may be picked-up in "sweeps" by the posted website
drop time
- Shipments must be dropped at TAF dock by the posted website drop time
- Acts of God, significant traffic issues, severe weather events and other
circumstances which are not controlled by TAF will exempt shipments from the
guarantee as specified in Towne Rules Tariff ICC TOWE 100B item 574.
- Rebate will be 100% of the freight charges - no other incidental customer expense will
be warranted
- Customers must file for the guarantee rebate on towneair.com website within 30 days
- Only customers in good standing are eligible to request refunds. To be considered 'in good standing' a customer must have all outstanding bills paid within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Due to growth through aquisition, service into and out of the following terminals will NOT be eligible for reimbursement under the On-Time Guarantee until further notice, following a suitable integration period: CXL, ELP, LAS, OLS, PHX and TUS
Additional Rules for ATA Shipments
- The posted website dock RECOVERY times will be guaranteed
- To be eligible for guarantee:
- Shipment must be recovered from a TAF dock
Additional Rules for ATD Shipments
- ATD service is guaranteed, provided the shipment travels in the TAF linehaul system
- The delivery will be guaranteed by 1700 hours (normal business hours)
- Guarantee does not apply to those shipments in which the delivery location (consignee) closes prior to 1700
- In the event that the consignee is unable to accept the freight on the service day, the shipment
will be considered to have met the guarantee
- Shipments to convention/exhibition sites will not be eligible for the guarantee
- Rebate is for freight charges only. No accessorial charges will be included in the refund.
