Former Mercury Executive Named as New President of Towne Network Solutions

South Bend, IN - Towne Holdings, Inc., a portfolio company of Charterhouse Group, Inc. announced that the company has named Paul J. Martins, a former senior executive with UPS and more recently COO of Mercury Air Cargo as President of its wholly owned subsidiary Towne Network Solutions ("TNS") .

Martins brings nearly 25 years of experience in the Air Freight industry to TNS. Starting his career in 1983, Martins spent 15 years with UPS in which he held several senior-level positions including Director of UPS Air Cargo. Martins joined Mercury in 2003 as COO and President, overseeing their worldwide handling and logistics companies as well as their wholly owned subsidiary airline sales company, Hermes Aviation.
