In this digital age, information is one of the most powerful and valuable
assets in business. Towne Air Freight believes in the importance of protecting
the privacy of users of towneair.com. Towne Air Freight is the sole owner
of the information collected on this site and Towne Air Freight will never
sell, trade or rent any information about our customers to third parties
for marketing purposes. This includes Towne Air Freight account numbers,
customer names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Information Collected
In order to use myTowne and many of the Towne Tools, we require that you register.
Information obtained during registration such as name, company, address, phone,
e-mail and account number is retained by Towne Air Freight and
is used to contact you if a problem arises with your account (such
as forgetting your login name or password).

Log Files
Towne Air Freight maintains a log of IP addresses for system administration,
security and statistical analysis purposes. An IP address is a unique
number assigned to a computer when it is connected to the Internet. IP
addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information and Towne
Air Freight will trace an IP address only in the course of the investigation
of a possible security breach.

Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a web site can send to the user's browser
to be stored on the hard drive. Towne Air Freight uses cookies in the
Virtual Towne area of our web site. These cookies keep track of a user's
login session and of prior shipment information. Towne Air Freight does
not use cookies to keep track of your web usage or to examine your computer.

All of our user's information is restricted in our offices. Only employees
who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access
to personally identifiable information. Additionally, our web servers
are stored in a secure environment with limited access.

If Towne Air Freight ever decides to change our privacy policy, we will
post these changes on our web site so all users are aware of what information
we collect and how we use it. If we should ever decide to use personally
identifiable information in a manner different than described above, we
will notify users of this change. If you do not agree with the new manner
in which we would use personally identifiable information, you would have
the option to opt out of this new use. All of your personally identifiable
information would then be removed from all of Towne Air Freight's web
servers.
