Driver Qualifications
To become a driver for Towne Air Freight you must meet all of the listed requirements.
- Candidate must be atleast 23 years of age
- Candidate must posses a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers License
(CDL) with hazmat and airbrake endorsements
- Must have at least two years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial motor vehicle.
- Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen
- Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical
- Candidate must have a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Listed below are requirements.
- No more than two moving violations in the last 36 months
- No more than one preventable accident within the last 36 months
- No DUI, DWI, Reckless Driving, or License Suspensions due to moving
violations within the last five years.
- Candidate must have a clean criminal background
