Towne Air Freight takes great pride in protecting our customers' cargo at every facility and while en route. Our terminals are fully secured and we control unauthorized access to trucks and trailers while in route. Our established security program consists of specific procedures to monitor internal documentation handling and record keeping procedures that ensure thorough implementation of programs.

Towne Air Freight is committed to protecting the interests of our customers through our advanced security programs:

• Certified by TSA as an Indirect Air Carrier (IAC)
• State-of-the-art digital security system using cameras, motion sensors, gates, alarms, and restricted access at ORD, IND, FWA, CLE
• Upgrading to digital security systems at additional terminals in the near future
• Hazardous materials response team to respond to any incident for initial containment
• DOT Certificate of Registration for Hazardous Materials
• DOT hazardous materials employee training
• Written hazardous materials program
• Company-wide written emergency response plan that covers severe weather, computer failures, bomb threats, and other situations
