Since Towne Air Freight was founded in 1963 with one employee and one van, we have grown into a full-service trucking provider offering time-sensitive, less-than-truckload shipments for both air freight and commercial companies. We have expanded from those early days of serving the airlines in South Bend, Indiana, to operating in more than 30 markets throughout the United States. Towne now employs approximately 1,000 employees and runs 1,100 pieces of equipment.
Despite our growth, we remain committed to our roots as a small company offering personal service. Towne prides itself on its family atmosphere, which helps keep our employee turnover rates low. This means our team brings a wealth of industry experience to serve you.
